Step 1: A few things to note

  • Initial consultations and follow-up nutrition coaching appointments are available via phone, Skype video conference, or in-person (by individual arrangement if you live in the Ithaca, NY area).
  • Erin does not bill insurance directly. If you would like to submit to an insurance claim, Erin will be happy to provide a Superbill for you to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Reimbursement is based on a number of factors and is not guaranteed. Payment in full is due prior to your appointment.
  • There are 2 initial nutrition consultation options. When signing up for an initial consultation, keep in mind that Erin highly recommends committing to at least two 30 minute follow-up nutrition coaching sessions. Life happens and questions come up. Erin will ensure that you have the support you need to follow your nutrition action plan and make adjustments as needed.

Comprehensive Nutrition Consultation

This initial consultation is for you if you want an expert in integrative and functional nutrition to assess the big picture of what is going on for you. This consult is for you if you have a complex medical history, are taking more than one medication, if you’ve seen any number of specialists for a specific health challenge or challenges, or you have big goals for your health and want an in-depth look at how to achieve them.

In this 60-75 minute consultation, Erin will guide you to achieve your goals for your health by thoroughly assessing your health history, food and lifestyle habits, schedule, lab work, food intake, medications, and supplements. Erin will use a holistic approach to assess what is going on for you and help uncover systems imbalances and root causes that may be keeping you from achieving optimal health.

After the consultation, Erin will craft your customized nutrition action plan so you know exactly what to do next to move toward reaching your health goals. Your action plan will include recommendations for food and lifestyle, as well as supplements, conventional and/or functional lab testing, and referrals (if needed). Erin may also send exclusive client-only resources to help you get the results you want.

Wellness Nutrition Consultation

This initial consultation is for you if you have a specific health goal or challenge that you want to discuss in detail (like weight loss, new diagnosis of Celiac disease, GERD, etc.). If you prefer a shorter, more targeted initial consultation to get you headed toward wellness, this consultation is for you.

In this 30-45 minute consultation, Erin will assess your health history, food and lifestyle habits, food intake, and schedule. She will help you get on the right track to achieve your health goal or overcome your health challenge through nutrition coaching, medical nutrition therapy (MNT), nutrition education, and specific action steps.

After the consultation, Erin will evaluate what we discussed to create your customized nutrition action plan so you know exactly what your next steps are to reach your health goals. Your action plan will include recommendations for food, lifestyle, and possibly recommendations for nutrition supplements, lab testing, or referrals if needed. Erin may also send exclusive client-only resources to help you get the results you want.
