Healthy Meals in Minutes

If eating healthier is one of your New Year’s resolutions, how are you doing with it? Have you made an effort to prepare more vegetables for each meal? Is it taking you a lot more time than you anticipated it would?

It is counter-intuitive, but the busier you are, the more important it is to plan ahead. Simply having a plan to eat healthy real-food meals every day of the week will also make a huge difference in your motivation and
desire to actually make it happen.

Unlike popular cooking shows that make whipping up gourmet meals look easy, you don’t have a sous-chef hiding out in the wings planning and prepping all of your ingredients for you. Julia Child once said, “You don’t have to cook fancy or complicated masterpieces—just good food from fresh ingredients.” You have a kitchen to prepare healthy meals, and they don’t have to be gourmet; they just need to be fast and healthy.

Eating healthy does not happen by chance, accident, or some stroke of fate—it must be planned!

There are four main steps to getting healthy meals on the table in minutes. These are:

1. Meal Planning

2. Grocery Shopping

3. Keeping Food Fresh

4. Meal Preparation and Cooking

As you can see, this idea of getting healthy meals on the table in minutes is entirely possible if you’ve done steps 1, 2, and 3. If your fridge, freezer, and pantry are stocked with the foods you need for your meals AND you know what your meals are going to be. . . preparing them is a whole lot easier!
